Default CLeaning Omega Breech Plug

What are some of your tricks? Is there something good to soak it in to clean it?

I don't own an omega but this may work with it.

Dawn dish soup, let it soak for 10 mins, scrub with an old toothbrush

I do that with all my inlines.

Warm water and Qtips if you shoot 777.

Take some Windex with vinegar and put in in a pump spray bottle. Just spray it on the plug and brush the crud off with a toothbrush.Rinse with clean water, dry and lube. Total elapsed time: Less than 2 minutes.

I haven't used it yet, but I have a couple jars of Remington Express Clean Parts Bath for when my breech plug gets dirty.

That water and soap stuff might work on 777 or Pyrodex, but my understanding is that a solvent is required to clean BH209.
