Hammer spur on scoped encore?

Anyone use a hammer spur extension on their encore? Looked in Brownells and didnt see any listed for Encores. Anybody know a manufacturer that makes one? Do you even need one?
I tend to mount my scopes pretty low, so it looks like I might need one to get the hammer cocked when wearing gloves.

Theres a guy on ebay thats been selling some nice hammer extensions he makes at a resonable price I have one on my encore and it works great. Some of my friends have also bought these and there working great. Ill try to find you his email address and drop it to you.

Found those ones on ebay, they look pretty decent. Are they blued, painted?
I had not seen the one in Cabelas, will probably go with that.
