would the hammer spur from a Pursuit work? Does the Apex hammer have a threaded hole in it? Check out the spur on the Traditions Firearms sight.

I may do that.

MD why did you want to sell this again

I think it's the same as the CVA Kodiak, no luck with the hammer....have you tried see-thru mounts to raise the scope??

have an email out to cva on it.

I am not a big fan of see thru mounts. look for some extra high may do it too, but I have it set up great for me. [8D]

may go with an shorter scope. depends on what happens with something else. got my eye on a couple that may work better then the rifle scope I have on it now.

Been there done that. There is no hammer spur for the Apex. Think about it, if there was a hammer spur, you would not be able to drop the action and prime it. That's why they dont have one for it. At least that's BPI/CVA's answer to the question.

I've thought about designing a swiveling spur that could be attached to the hammer so it could swing out of the way when dropping the action but have not had time to dig into it.
