Browning A-Bolt 30-06. Dirt (mud) clogged bore. Shot attempted was ~400 yards.

Any gun can fail if the user doesn't take proper precautions.

That's what I kind of figured UC. What a waste of a good rifle. Lucky he did not get hurt.

If you stop and think about it it is suprising they have as few blow as they do. Quality control and inspection is something the Americans do, and their so called proof testing is so pitiful its anal. Lee

tommy have you got in touch with cva/bpi about this? or just waiting for lawyers to do that?

either way the gun will be tested for manufacture or user error.

yes I did talk to cva to try and explain what heppened and they sent me an address label and told me to send the gun back to them asap,,not, the gun is with me,I have talked to a lawyer and he explains to me I must wait for dr to release me and give my final results on my hearing and bills.
sent cva pics of gun and let them know address label hed wrong name on it,also told them what the dr was saying, only responce I got from them was""I'm sorry to hear about your dr visit butplease go ahead and use that label, but put a piece of paper with my name adddress and phone number""they already have all that so why can't they get the right name on a label
