Genesis Question
#1
I cleaned the Genesis last night and after putting it back together starting to wipe off the exterior I noticed a mark on the scope directly above the cam of the rifle. It looked to be blowback and was really difficult to remove. I had to use steel wool and gun oil to get it off.
Anyone else experience this or is it just my Genesis?
From the location of the fouling on the scope it looks to be coming from the barrel:cam interface.

Shouldn't be that hard to remove (were you shooting BH209?). Put a piece of duct tape there to protect it in the future. I think they Genesis rifles probably all do or will leak a bit of blowback there.

Damn underclocked - you must be a redneck for sure. I was thinking more on the line of electrical tape. A couple wraps. Then if it rains I can put a piece over the muzzle.
