Default unbreakable ram rods wanted.......

I'm looking for Brass or other unbreakable material ram rods for a TC Hawken .50,Renegade .54 factory barrel and a GM .54 Something easy on the hands and fits the thimbles. The GM factory rod is like a wet noodle so I've been using my range rod. What are the thread sizes on both ends to fit TC products?Thanx Harold

Harold, if you call Ed Cain he can likely provide you with just the rod you need. 800-445-1776 or you can email him via the site at http://www.cainsoutdoor.com/contactus.asp

Tell him what you have and what you need and ask for a total price.

When I called I think I talked to his son who was so helpful, I wondered how they could be that willing to help, with every customer. Great place to do business.

Thanx boys! I'll call them tomorrow.Hopefully they ship to Canada.Sighted in both the Renegade .54 and Hawken .50 with ball loads at 75 yards.I couldn't locate any QD scope mts so went with regular Weaver rings.I am going to get a brass1/4 x28 nipple with cleaning tube to simplify gun cleaning without removing scope. The boy was able to handle 60gr of FFG under a .015 patch and .490 ball so the range will need to be kept close. My .54 likes 100gr doses of FFG with a .018 patch and .530 ball.Deer + moose open Nov 1..........................Harold
