As a matter of fact, I was plannning on using open sights quite a bit. What do you mean that the KRB7 would be the worst for that--are you referring to the stock drop?

Yes, I can't really use open sights anymore but it was difficult to get my head down enough to see those sights.

I'll agree with UC on that. I really like my KRB, but it wouldn't be my choice for an open sight rifle.

Maybe I'll just shoot it instinctively like my longbow!

You could try but I don't believe you'd be satified with the results. I'd at least try to gap shoot with the MZ.

I've spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out the open sights on my KRB and I think I've pretty much ruled out that possiblity. Even tried a different set of sights. It was great with a scope, but once you switch to open sights, I don't think you'll like it much.

I compaired the KP1 against an Encore...there is a night and day difference in weight and simplicity.

Don't askwhich I went with, you need to go feel the difference yourself.

beast44k, I also own a KP1. I wouldn't trade my Accura for another. No kidding. The switch-barrel capability is unimportant to me though.

Any thoughts on the sights of the Lyman Mustang Breakaway?

I have absolutly no problem using the sights on my Mustang, and I'm a "fat-faced" kind of guy. (Better than two-faced any day. )
