Default Lyman Mustang Muzzleloader?

I just saw an add for this new muzzleloader and wondered if anyone has one or has any info on its performance(link). It looks like a nice rifle. It kinda resembles a Pedersoli Denali that I saw. Its probably made in Italy or Spain. I saw it on sale for $294.00.Where are the Great Plains rifles made at? I know alot of people speak good things about them. Any info will help. Thanks.

Being a Lyman I would guess it is built by Investarms/a.k.a. Lyman in Italy. It has a 1-24 twist I believe and is magnum able. That's about all I have read on it. I agree, it is a rather nice looking rifle.

They have it at Cabela's. It looks pretty sweet!!! I'm guessing it's a great gun because the Lyman's have a pretty good reputation. They are all well built. I'm interested in that baby!

I talked (e-mail) to a person that has a Mustang. It's a 1-28 twist, 209 ignition, and with 100 grains of powder and a XTP he said it was a real good shooter, very accurate, and a real nice rifle. Also a very nice looking rifle. That is what he told me in an email.

I have one and love it, shoots SST's very well. Was thinking about getting another for my wife. Only thing I can find wrong with it is the too small trigger guard.
