Default RE: Powder Pellets

Despite all the advertising most guns shoot best with 90 to 120 gr there are a few exceptions, both my Omega and my Triumph have one or two loads that will shoot with that heavy a load. For the most part it is a waste of powder. Once you go over 135 gr the law of diminishing returns takes over. If you really feel you want better long range results the way to go is with loose powder and a high BC bullet; But most of us consider 150yd is not a problem with a gun that is shooting 100gr and grouping in less than 2 inches.
