Several people have tried that type of ignition, the only one I have heard about that was claimed to work with out problems was a home made conversion that used a large rifle magnum primer. Lee

I have an NEF Huntsman that uses the PR 25 ACP conversion breech plug. I tested B209 in it using CCI small rifle primers. The day I tested it was sunny, over 80 degrees F and humid. I was getting slight hang fires. I am in no hurry to make B209 work in this rifle because T7 does just fine for my needs. When I get the itch to test again, I plan to test with CCI small rifle magnum primers to see if they work better.

I shot several rounds in my Omega with the 25 acp conversion. I did first try the 25 acp with small rifle primers and did get a couple of hang fires, but even that might have ben my fault. Since BH, is a progressive burning - smokeless powder - I think it is improtant to seat the cobinationTIGHT on the the powder. It is a possiblity on the 2 hang fires I just seated but did not drive it down on the powder. When I switched to small rifle mag primers never had a problem after that at all.
For me the only test that remains is will it work in really cold weather, here i am in sub-freezing even sub zero weather late in the season.

sabotloader, I am by no means a fair weather hunter, but sub zero weather....
I would be concerned that there would be more things not working with me than with my rifle load. Fortunately, it doesn't usually get that cold here during our hunting season.
