semi, let me guess.
cut the head off. skin, place a stick through, place over open fire or grill, little salt and pepper.
when done cut into bite size serving, with a side of bbq, hot sauce, and ranch.

I was going to let my daughter hunt with the crossbow and me with the Oneida but after having to shoot the snake and all the BIG hog sign I saw,I am carrying a 12 guage while she shoots the crossbow.

By all means, use the 300g Platinums with 60-70g of your favorite powder
60g keeps it right about 1350-1400fps which IMHO is Perfect I've shot many a deer with this load and it works all the way out to 120yards. And will push thru with excellent expansion...and no fragmentation

Ron, start off with 70gr T7-300gr plat. and work your way up. The 275gr Aerotip is also a great bullet.
A 777 primer is good, but is extremely dirty! Rem Kleanbore and CCI shotshells are the best when it comes to keeping the drop action clean.
