Deer, because of the encroachment of people into what was once their areas have really started to cause the influx of deer into suburban settings. Also there are lots of city people that find a pleasure in feeding deer causing them to stay in city areas.

They are checking hunting dates so they can put it on the master hunter's calendar in the woods. Then they all move out of the area and hide in the cities until after hunting season.

The deer in my areawould be safe near our local(3 in a 6 mile area)Walmarts. No guns, damn few choices in ammo, and certainly no MZ supplies. I guess you could start swingin the golf clubs at them......

I have talked to allot of deer and those were no doubt scouts sent out to see who buys deer tags at walmart then they report back to the herd.

We currently have a city with too many deer, some trophybucks in Town and Country, MOand the city has sent it to a public vote as to see what to do. This same city tried to capture and transport deer which as we all know will kill the deer, they found out too late and didn't listen to conservation and knowledgeable hunters. They even tried contraception in does, well guess what, they are more overpopulated. The city counsel is going to vote this month to allow bowhunters and sharp shooters to hunt in areas. The only problem is you would be hunting in backyards of 500,000 to 1 million dollar homes. Tags would be unlimited in certain areas but again you need approval from the home owners and must be certified, which I am. I make around 75 K a year and I would be out of place in that neighborhood and might even have the local police ****** me out for being a "hoodlum". There may be too many rules like not being able to gut a deer in their yard or surrounding area, which I totally understand. There may be some off the wall requests but I'll wait and see. Our season starts September 15th (when it's still in the 90's)and goes until January 15th (perfect in the low teens). We shall see what happens.
