wood stock for new englander
#1
Does anyone know where or who makes a wood stock to retro fit a T/C New Englander? I bought one a year ago with the black composite stock and I'd like to put a wood stock on it for a more traditional look and feel. I tried Googling it and came up with nothing. Any help will be appreciated.

There's a beautiful one on eBay right now, but it includes the lock and hardware so it's going to bemore expensive than buyinga barestock. If you did buy it, then you could either sell yourold stockorthe lock & hardwareparts separatelyon eBayto recoup some of your investment.
eBay is the place tosearch for used stocks and muzzle loader parts if you can't find them anywhere else.
Good luck if you decide to bid on it!

Pecotoniamakesreplacement TC stocksbut only for the Hawken & Renegade models, and I'm not sure how easy it would be to bed a New Englander barrel in a Renegade stock.

Hey grizz, you might want to put a swap ad in some of the muzzle loading forums classified section. There may be someone out there who would want to swap their wood stock for your synthetic one.
