I just noticed something. I got a new gun to start working with (the apex I bought off FG). repair to my new englander. start working on 100yrds with with both my knight and new englander. somemore test with some homecast bullets I have. smelt and cast some bullets. I have got 3 months to get ready for opening day.

Hunting season will be here sooner then you think. September is bow season again here. That's only a couple months away. Then October is grouse season... this is play time and fishing season.

I'm having a little problem with RWS (Range Withdrawal Syndrome) myself. Could not get to the range last week end and will not likely make it next week end either. That sucks, especially since I expect the new .45 GM barrel for the Renegade to arrive this week. Bow season opens Oct 1 here and deer/ML season open Nov 8. Can't wait. Will be my first season with a flintlock.

I am already starting to get ready for range session when I get back. I picked up some 45cal cleaning tip and brush, and a pack of 209 primers. I am going to buy some 45cal powerbelt platnums when I get home. local gunshop has some for $18 per card.

I went to 2 gunshops. looked at the powerbelts. one was selling the reg. copper for $18 and the plat. for $20. and pyro rs for $20
the other was selling copper and plat. for $16 to $18. and pyro rs normal is $16 but they where out.
