leave for FL Thursday
Well, getting ready for my almost 2week trip to FL. Still have not order any sights for my new englander, but I do know a gunshop in my area that sales some open sights for it. I am off on monday and my wife has already handed out the hunny do list. I got my own list I want to do. run to one gunshop and pick up some 209 primers run to another gun shop and maybe pick up some sights. goto an pawn shop and check and see what they have. then start doing my wifes list.

Have you been down there before ,Corey?
If not, here's a few things you'll need to pack.....
1. Spanish/English dictionary
2. Dark sunglasses ( because bikinis will be everywhere. Trust me, I live it every day and always carry a spare pair)
3. A t-shirt that says,"Don't bother me, I'm a local"
4. A bumper sticker that reads, "If it's called Tourist Season, why can't we shoot 'em?"
That should get you started. Oh, and if anyone asks you a question,your response should be .."Que?"
You should fit right in, in South Florida.
If not, here's a few things you'll need to pack.....

Holy Schneikes! My wife and I hit Epcot and Downtown Disney (Cirque de Soleil, etc) every other year. Next year is Epcot! I love drinking around the world. By the time I hit Mexico, I'm a very happy guy!
Of course, we spend alot of time at the Canadian pavillion, just to see a couple of sets of "Off Kilter".

I live on the southeast coast, so here's my wisdom:
1. The snowbirds left a month or so ago, so traffic is back to normal.
2. A lot of people here only speakSpanish, but they're easier to understand than the rednecks
3. In addition to the above required stuff to make you look local, you also need a tan you can't get in four days. This pale look, as well as wearing a speedo in December when it's 65 degrees or wearing mouse ears, is the biggest tell as to who the touristas are.

I will, we stop, when we do this trip, last exit of ga or 1st exit of fl. mainly one pee breaks, if I don't drink amp on one of my legs. I pm you a the day of or the day before.
