Default 1x scope ???

Any recomendations on a good 1x scope for my encore ??
I want one that's waterproof !!! My son has the T.C on his Omega but i don't think it's waterproof. 1x is all we can usen here in Utah .

The best one out there with the best warranty is the Nikon or Burris. I like the Nikon 1x20mm. It is short, great eye relief, and very clear. I also have a T/C on a different rifle, and it too is very good. I think I will buy one of the Tradition models just to see if I can destroy it with recoil, but my money for your rifle would be the Nikon.

I already have traditions scope , but i don't like the small circle in the middle of the cross-hairs .
Shot it a few times and took it off . I guess i also just don't trust a cheap scope , if its going to fail on me , just my luck it will do it whenMr big buck is in my sights . I really like the Nikon , lookedat one a sportsman's warehouse . Have not looked through a Burris scope yet.

Looked at a Sightron 1x today , very clear .
Has anyonehere used any Sightron scopes.

I have a Sightron S1 3-9x40 and it is a very clear scope and has taken a lot of punishment and never failed yet. I have not tried one in the 1X power.
