I have got an email from someone using bluebellvue handle. saying that I was not sending something I sold him and he was going to report me. I have not placed anything for sell on ebay. I got looking close to date and noticed something, the close date was 2 years ago. I close an account under another email address over 10yrs. just opened one back up only a few months ago.

I would like to forward to email you someone to know what is going on.

ID fraud is getting very common. I would call e-bay and have them explain it.

Ebay has a fixture on the security page of their site for reporting "phishing" emails. This seems to be one. Open the link for reporting a scam, and you can copy and paste the whole email. let Ebay deal with it. It's happened to me before.

I don't open any emails coming from supposedly ebay. I get them regularily saying I'm a power seller and what not and I've never sold anything on there. someone told me not to open them as hackers and scammers can use all your info off your computer as soon as you click on them to open them up. I don't know if that's true or not, but I'm playing it safe.

I don't believe/trust 95% of the emails I get. I am VERY suspect of the other 5%. Especially the ones I get from Underclocked!!!!

Anything suspicious I usually just forward to ([email protected]) and they will tell you if they sent it or not. I thought anything in "MY MESSAGES" was supposed to be sent by e-bay but I suppose the dirty crooks found a way to get around that security issue too by now. DIRTY, DIRTY , SOBS.

woke up this after noon. (gotta work 3rd shift tonight) checked my email. something from ebay on this matter. pretty much telling me thanks for bringing this email to there attention and the person that send this does not have an account on ebay. that was fast.

I am lucky, Underclocked does not have my email addy.
