#1

I'm recoil sensitive, so I don'treally likeshooting anything over 300 grains, and usually shoot lighter bullets than that.
The heavier conicalsbeing longer, often require more powder and velocityto stabilize out of medium twist barrels.
And shootingheavy's out of light weight guns will produce more felt recoil too.
So it's a personal preference how heavy of a bullet a person decides to shoot, whilealso taking intoconsideration the accuracyrequirements of the rifle and the size of thegame animal being hunted.
Oh yeah, let's not forgetthe cost! [8D]

I am starting to shoot an 405gr homecast .457 sabot out of my usak. almost brought them with me yesterday to the range and try them out of my new englander. I am a littel recoil sensitive but I was only shooting them with 75grs of triple 7.
I just found out today (told) have to hold off until till july anyway. so I guess i give them a try next year. got my ass chewed for buy 2 bricks of 22lr today.
can't even order any sabots. until july. [:@]
