I'm recoil sensitive, so I don'treally likeshooting anything over 300 grains, and usually shoot lighter bullets than that.
The heavier conicalsbeing longer, often require more powder and velocityto stabilize out of medium twist barrels.
And shootingheavy's out of light weight guns will produce more felt recoil too.
So it's a personal preference how heavy of a bullet a person decides to shoot, whilealso taking intoconsideration the accuracyrequirements of the rifle and the size of thegame animal being hunted.
Oh yeah,let's not forgetthe cost! [8D]
