Default Bullshop conicals

I want to order some for my White. Just wondering what to get, the cheapest "antimonial alloy" or pure lead?

Probably just for target for now. I'm thinking the 460 gr.

Most of us White shooters shoot pure lead with Dans #2 lube. In fact I don't recall any of us ordering the alloy bullets.

Get the pure lead, #2 lube in 460 and 500 are my favorite. I shoot them in an Ultra Mag, Model 97, and a Bison. All of them shoot great. What model rifle do you have? Sometimes I order .5045 and some times .5035 depending on the rifle. My Model 97 is a .451 and that's what it takes, in a 460 grain.

Dave, It is a g-series whitetail, in .504 cal, i guess similar to the Bison, In fact I have another one coming from gun-broker, identical to this one with a peep-sight, Just have a hard time passing up a bargain, I slugged the bore on this oneand it might be a hair over .504 so I think I will get some in .5045 and some #2 lube. I tried maxi-balls and they were too small, Great plainsI give a little rap to get them started and they grouped pretty good. Thanx for the advise !!!!!

Well, the other one came today and it is like he said unfired, but our very consideratemail carriers broke off the front sight and bent the Lyman peep. I think I can straighten the peep and find a different front sight.Probably should have beenpacked a little better [:@]
In case you are wondering 189.00 plus 20.00 for shipping. I didn't think that was too bad ??

Any time you can get a White is very good shape for 200 bucks, that's a good deal. Sounds like a nice one.

I would get the .5045, .504 falls out of my barrel (U-Mag).
