Does the $500 include the tag and the license? Have not looked at non-resident fees for along time.... Gas is a killer - it keeps me from shooting as much as I want.. actualy since I am driving a V10 F-250 it keeps me from doing a lot of normal things especially when you are ree-tired and on a fixed income...

Elk tag is $373 and the non-resident license was $142. 4000 mile round trip would be like 180 gallons of gas... YIKES
Lot better deal for Non-resident hunters in Ohio. $125 for a license and the deer tags cost the same as for residents-$24. And you can take 3 deer in my area and I think 4 if you purchase the $15 doe tag they are offering this year.

You must be an English major - specializing in Literature!!! My Lit teachers always told me you can not just read the words you have to read between the words and decide what the writer was really trying to say... What happened to "what he said is what he meant"???
OK it is not so fixed... in fact it goes up a little bit each year... but for some reason it doesn't go up as fast as the other things that are going up... take gasoline for instances - it is really going up around here how about where you live - or are we just the lucky ones?

Yeah, my fixed income went up a littlein January - butmy health insurance premium went up $17 more than the pension increase. Gas prices around here have been bouncing around like a ping-pong ball. Last time I filled up it was $3.07 for regular.

semisane, you live in the state of refineries, isn't that why gas jumped so d_ _ned high when Katrina hit? Ohio you can bet on Wednesday the price goes up and drops on Monday a.m.
