You'll like that rifle. The more I shoot mine, the more I like it.
I've had good luck with 250 gr. Barnes expanders and Bonded shockwaves, 385 gr. and 410 gr. great plains conicals. I've got some 375 gr. SSB's I need to try, as soon as the weather permits. What scope are you gonna mount on it?

I plan on shooting the 250 and 300gr Barnes Expander MZ's as well as trying the XTP 250 and 300 gr. I just bought a bunch of XTP's from Mid Southand 300 Crushed Rib sabots. I haven't decide on a scope yet but, I've got all Nikon Pro Staff 2x7x32 on my other MZ and slug guns. So I'll have some time to dial in with loose and pellets, I've only got 35 "working days" until I retire at the end of April. I'm thinkin it's going to be a nice spring.

Not really sure what you mean buy "takeup" there certainly is no creep in the trigger.

No, not creep - it's the springy take up before you get when you first start to squeeze... or does yours not do that? I only asked because I have a cheap, but not necessarily easy, cure.

Ah I see, Actually I don't notice anything. There is resistanceas soon asI apply my fingerto the triggerand then a clean break. Do you think I'll experience that takeup after I start shooting it?
