Knight KRB UPDATED W/ Pic

Well I finally found a KRB that I can "fondle". A gun shop over in Indiana has a couple of different ones, blued/black composite, and a couple of stainless/camo models. I've been to Gander Mountain in Peoria, IL, Gander Mountain and Shooters Supplyin Paducah KY and none of them had a KRB. I had a short list of the KRB, the Savage 10ML, and the Thompson Center Triumph to look at and purchase. I didn't really like the feel of the Triumph, plus the first time I looked at one I couldn't get the breech plug back in right and the action wouldn't close. The Savage was nice but I'd have trouble getting smokeless powder being how I'm from the great state of Illinois where they try to screw you if you own a gun. So, they got the KRB Blued/composite for $219. I thought that was a pretty good deal. I'll look at the stainless/camo also and decide. With any luck I'll be a new KRB owner by this time tomorrow.

Well it's mine. I went over to Lafeyette (SP?) Indiana this morning and bought the last KRB they had. They had sold the stainless/camo models they had lastnight. Kinda disapointed I didn't get a chance at one of them, they sold for $265. I was really impressed with the store, never been to a Sportsman Warehouse before. Just as good if not better than any Gander Mountain I've been to. Picked up some Weaver mounts, a sling, and a spare box of 50/50 Pyrodex pellets. The pellets were $20 and some change, far cry from the $27 a box I pay here. Lookin forward to cleaning it up and shooting loose and pellets through it. $219 + tax for the KRB.

Great deal on thr KRB! I got mine for $249 and at that time, that was a great deal. (I thought);)
If that's the Black/Blue model, same one I got. I never was a stainless fan. I guess it's just personal preference.
Have fun with it and post results!
