Default Looking for a smallbore sidelock

It must be contagious, I'm thinking seriously of buying a smallbore sidelock, too.[&:]
Looking at a new .36 CVA Bobcat (online) but unable to fine any real specs on it. Does anyone know what the barrel measures across the flats, and what size ball is recommended (.350 ?)????
I have a 7 year old son, soI figure it would be good to introduce him to muzzleloading with, plus it would make ole' dad a dandy small game/plinking rifle.
Any comments on the rifle (negative or positive) will be appreciated!

Now you have me thinking. I was looking on the GM website and they have a drop-in barrel for the T/C Hawken in 32 cal. percussion. Hmmmmmm Boy I wish I still had my 36 cal Seneca.
