I just picked up a knight wolverine II value pack setup. Question is: Is this a decent gun????? and does anyone know if knight makes a upgrade or conversion kit to switch this over to 209 primers???? Also, a person I assume can use the pre measured pellet form of the powder in this gun??? or do I need to actually use the powder???? Any help/info on this gun would be great!! I picked it up on sale at Gander Mountain for $85.00!!! Originally a $200.00 sticker on the setup! So I couldnt pass it up! Thanks!

bloodtrail,
Great deal on the gun! Yes, it is a VERY decent gun. I have the original Wolverine and have had it for years.
Knight does make a conversion kit for this gun. I would recommend that you get the 209 kit that uses the Full Plastic Jackets. Much better than just the standard 209 kit. The newer Wolverine II's have this kit pre-installed. That is why you got such a great deal. The kit will run about $60, check out Bass Pro Shops for it. You can definately use the pellets in this gun, and I believe that it can take a load of up to 150 grains. Please check with Knight first, to verify this, as the older models of the Wolverine only went to 100 grains, max. www.knightrifles.com
Again, congrats on a great gun and a great deal. Let us know how it works for you. Any more questions, feel free to ask.
