It seems to me that as the days get longer in the fall they start going nocturnal, our bow season runs till the end of Feb. and I am still holding on to one tag there is 3 other bucks that come onto my land now and then and I have been after one of them for 3 years he makes these guys look little but he is very nocturnal and sharp. I took a buck and a doe so far we are only allowed 3 tags this year. Lee

We have one day of doe season left here in WV. I took my Sharp's rifle out and shot a nice big doe this evening(Friday). While hunting I saw a pretty good 8 point that I passed on during our Buck season. I was glad to see he made it. It looks like you got a couple left for seed also. Tom.

Very nice Lemoyne! Those look to be 3 1/2 year olds. The one on the right has super potential. I can't tell if he's an 8, 9 or 10 pointer, but great tine length. Have you seen that deer before? That's a great deer to let go another year, but the way things have gone here so far, I think I'd have to crack him if I saw him tonight, the last evening stand of my muzzleloader season.
