Default Loads for TC Pro Hunter

I just started muzzleloading and I'm using 777 pellets with 250 grain shockwaves. Not doing to bad with it. My question is can I use 3 50 gr. pellets? What I've read 2 is the limit unlessyou use the 30 gr pellets. But I seen a guy the other day drop 3 50's in. I really like the gun I've had it a while and just bought the muzzleloader barrel. Seems very well made.

You can use 3 pellets in a Pro Hunter, in my mind it is a waste of powder and money however. It only gets you 400 fps, for the extra 50g, and significant recoil, I also believe accuracy will suffer. Shoot it with 3 and see how it hit, if it groups nice with the SW, stay with it, if it speads your groups out more then drop back to 2 pellets. Chap Gleason

I'm going to work on it this weekend as long as the weather holds out. I'm hoping to use it in the Jan. season here in Il. I'll let you know how it works. Thanks

Don't waste the powder and your ACCU. will suffer ALSO pick up some 200gr SW guys are haveing very good Reports with these out of that gun.

But do your self a FAVOR get some Loose 777 2fg and work on your load that way start off with 80gr and work your way up in 5gr Incraments untill you find your guns sweet spot ALSO loose is Cheaper in the long run.

I'll bet a plate of fried backstraps the your Pro-Hunter will shot an inch or less at 100 yards with 3 777 pellets and a 250 Shockwave... Encore's like to be loaded hot... and the extra pellet is worth every grain.

I haven't got to shoot it past 50 yds. But the gun can out shoot me with the rests "no bench or bags" that I have at 50 yds they touch. 2 pellets 777 and 250 SW. I'm very happy so far. Thanks for the help guys!!
