Specifically for a CVA Hunterbolt, but whatever you have experienced for a 50cal muzzy?? The kind you had to almost hammer in
Hornady SSTs in black sabot,I have to pound them down with a hammer, not push them down. Can't use them in any of my inlines. Chap Gleason

gleason.chapman, thats why I buy Shock Waves SST are in a MMP12 and there are only a few guns like the Whites and Knights that normally have bores that big. The Shock Waves are with MMP-HPH 24 which will usually fit TC's and several others. Lee

Yeah, I had a whale of a time trying to hammer some Hornady's in yesterday during my final sighting in of the new scope.

Same here... I guess the sabots that come with the pre-packaged bullets are too thick. You have to use the thinner walled sabots. I don't know the numbers, but they where posted on here awhile back. I ended up going with the SW's anyways. They shoot incredibly well out of my Omega. A little expensive, but no messing around. And they're easy to load right out of the package. I don't shoot the ML a whole lot so that's okay. I love the thrill and sport of the hunt. But mostlydeer huntfor the meat. I eat very little store bought meat. Don't want the hormones and chemicals they pump into the livestock nowadays.
