Default Back where I started.

I had a white 97 whitetail in .45 cal I had to sell it to buy the white ultra mag which I do not regret at all it is a wonderful gun. After I lugged the ultramag for some 20 miles the first day of the deer season and about 15 milesthe next and 5 miles the next,the arm and shoulder cried for something a little lighter. So I bought a whitetail in .45 again I happen to find used. Funny how some of us get rid of a gun because you just never take it out or use. Then you just end up wanting it again. Well i sit at work today wishing I had taken more time off for the hunt. I have 3 more days to find me a deer here in utah. I passed on 3 two 2 points and a spike.

And that is why I never sell my rifles... Thanks for the proof positive that my method of accumulation is not excess but a working model of the right way to be prepared.

well put cayugad it was hard to give up the whitetail but I do not regret getting the ultra mag awsome rifle.

Heard the Navy is building a new battle ship and asked Dave if they could melt down his guns for the steel. Figured it would be just enough for the job.

I have rifles I haven't fired in MANY YEARS, but I still drag them out, oil/grease them, pat their stocks, and admire them from time to time. My widow is going to have a lot of guns to get rid of, to say nothing of powder & shot!!
