In Mo we have:

Urban Counties Oct 5-8
Youth Oct 27,28
November Firearms Nov 10-20
Muzzleloading Nov 23-Dec 2
Anterless Dec 8-16

All can be used with a muzzleloader which I do use in all my hunting.
This does not include any managed hunts we have. If you include bow hunting I think if you got all permits for adults you could kill around 10 deer this year. Some areas have unlimited doe tags for bowhunting so you could go wild. These areas also have a Share the Harvest program where you can donate the meat to food shelters as well. There is just so much hunting oportunity and not enough time to do it all. I wish there could be a bill that lets all hunters take a leave of absence from work for a few months and get paid for it, sort of like the family leave act when you have a kid or two. That would be something.

In Oregon, we don't have a general ML season. ML for deer (Blacktail) and Elk we have a draw.
If you get lucky for ML, you cannot hunt general gun season for deer. Ain't that sweet?

I choose to hunt with my ML during general deer season and General elk. This year that is Sep. 29 through Nov. 2 for deer. If you choose to bow hunt in Or. for deer, then you cannot hunt during general gun season. Our 2007 Big Game Regulation (BOOK) is 103 pages long. Better hire a lawyer to go over it with you, before going into the woods........LOL!

In Oklahoma it's seperated into 8 sections and depending on where you live in the state you can shoot anterless deer at different times. Basically archery starts Oct. 1 and goes til the end of the year and anterless through Jan. 15. Muzzleloader is the last week of Oct. anterless all week and rifle is the two weeks in the end of Nov. Rifle you can only shoot anterless on the weekends and the last day. Muzzleloader is a great time here because the bucks are running in groups and fighting a lot. Last year I rattled up five in one group.

Yah, we only have a one week ML season, but we are allowed to used ML's during rifle season which is from 10/20-1/1/08 or 1/15/08 depending on what zone you are in. I use my ML's through the regular gun season. We also designated an archery only area on our hunting club this year. I may be hunting it a little this year. Kind of dissapointing not seeing that cloud of smoke!!!

In NC we have 4 muzzleloading seasons, in the 4 separate regions. The seasons are:

Eastern:
Muzzleloader 6-12 Oct
Gun 13 Oct - 1 Jan

Central:
Muzzleloader 3-9 Nov
Gun 10 Nov - 1 Jan

Western:
Muzzleloader 8-13 Oct
Gun 19 Nov - 8 Dec

Northwestern:
Muzzleloader 10-16 Nov
Gun 17 Nov - 15 Dec

The reason I added the Gun season dates, is that we can use muzzleloaders during the regualr gun seasons as well. The season bag limit, from opening of bow season thru the last day of the gun season is 6 deer. The central, western, and northwestern regions have a 2 buck/4 doe limit, but the eastern has a 4 buck/2 doe limit or all 6 can be does. Also NC hunters can purchase additional Bouns Antlerless Harvest Cards, which allow the hunter to take 2 additional does per card, and the hunter can purchase unlimited cards.

AR muzzy season starts the second Sat in Oct for nine days. (Oct 13th - Oct 21st) and then again Dec 29th - 31st.

Since I got my new Savage smokeless ML, for me it will also include the modern gun dates Nov 10th to Dec 17th.
