That is good to know that in the heat you can't get very good groups, but can in cooler weather. Maybe I can get even better groups then when I go out again just due to the temps. Thanks. I won't do it again for the reasons you state as well as it was just too darn hot. I just REALLY wanted to shoot the thing.

we don't have a choice here in Florida, all of our hunting is in the heat. i checked the zero on two of my centerfire's a couple weeks ago when it was 100 degrees.
