Default Polish breech plug?

Considering polishing the powder end of the breech plug for my Magbolt 150 to minimize carbon buildup and ease cleanup. Any suggestions on what I can use?

You only need a mild abrasive for that.......try J-Bs, USP, or Flitz paste. Put a little on a patch or rag and spin the plug with the area you want polished in contact with the paste..........it won't take much paste, but work in well what you do use - the longer you work it, the better the outcome.

"Every moving thing that liveth, I give unto you as meat" (Gen 9:3)

Trust God..........but keep your powder dry!

I've never heard of doing that. Do you really think it makes a big difference?

I would;

#1 put a little hi-temp "anti sieze" on your plug threads before you screw it in.

#2 refer to JDoyle suggestion.

That should solve any/all potential problems

I might try M whiz idea on the breach/bolt end of my Knight and TC inline!
