Default Speer Gold Dots in ML?

Anyone ever use 210 grain .44 cal Speer Gold Dots in thier .50 cal ML? I have the better part of 100 left over after deciding not to load any more for my Redhawk and was wondering if anyone had any experience with them. I figured I could buy some green sabots and would probably use 2 Pyrodex pellets or 80-90 grains ofPyrodex RS to keep the velocity down somewhat.Do you think this would be a workable whitetail load for under 100 yardsand would the bullet hold up?I use 300 grain T/C Shockwaves normally and probably still will but I am just looking for another use for bullets I have on hand.

If you get good accuracy with them, I see no reason why the 210 grain Gold Dots would not work on deer. They have good ballistics and placed in the right place they should do just fine. Especially at the distances you are talking.
