Default New look on stock

I painted the black stock on my savage and think it came out good.I like the feel and the looks.Tried it out to see if it shot as good as the one I have with a stock that had been bedded, think its going to work fine.
The target I shot yesterday with the orange dot was with the same load in another fellows savage,I tried so hard to put it in the same hole I pulled the 3rd shot and hit a little low.The green rem target is what I shot with my savage and the new stock.

The rifle turned out beautiful.. Nice job there. Also that is some impressive shooting. That should give the whitetail a bad day in the woods..

This is a replacement stock that I painted.I had broken the cap out of the hand grip is the reason I got another, have been shooting the broken one the last couple of years with no problem though, and just got around to doing this.
I found the paint at wal-mart,and decided to give it a try,so far I think it came out better than I thought it would.I washed it off good with alcohol, let it dry for about a week, then took it out side and just sprayed it,let that dry for 2 weeks then sprayed it with clear kote one day let it dry to the next day and sprayed it again, then let it set for a week before I put it on the gun.The paint is called STONE TOUCH.
The reason I took so long doing it I wanted to be sure that it would have a better chance in staying on.
The other stock was bedded and this one is not so you can see the difference in shooting so far wasn't much, but haven't shot but 6 bullets out of the painted one so far.
This is a group I shot back in june with the bedded stock but it is a different load.
