Default new power belts?

Has anyone seen or tried the new Power Belt bullets. They have a sabot on them instead of the belt. just was wondering about the innovation. Here's a link-take a look http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_94841_400003003_400000000_400003000_400-3-3

redline - those are nothing more then a sabot / projectile combination. It looks like something to try. Whether they will shoot better then powerbelts, I have no idea. I thought you were talking about some of the platinum powerbelts.

First time I have ever seen those... looks like they could be interesting, but doubt I would ever pay that price for them...

I don't think they are Power Belts. It says CVA!!! Unless they are made by Power Belt for CVA, I don't know.

I'm in love with the Shockwaves but you can bet that I'll try 'em! You just never know what a rifle will like?

cva owns the Powerbelt name, but the bullet itself is made in idaho. That sabot/bullet has been out for a while now. Would be nice to see how they shoot/load.

They looked interesting--I'll probably try them but it will be hardto beat Parker's Ballistic Extreams.

I looked at that advertisment and nowhere does it say anything about Power Belt. The plant that makes the power belt bullets may make this saboted bullet, but I wouldn't call it a Power Belt.

Now CVA may own the power belt company or rights or whatever, but that saboted bullet doesn't look like they are trying to sell it as a Power Belt. S&W owns T/C but I don't see anyone calling the Encore a S&W Encore do you?

I think they look like a power belt bulletwith the belt replaced by the sabot. I didn't really mean they were a "power belt" . Power belts are a CVA brand bullet-I think this is their way into the saboted bullet market.
