Cdad

Gosh! I miss shooting, working sucks sometimes... I really do like the thought of a 6.5 # gun to carry around all day plus still have the accuracy and the power of the White. The only thing that I have that comes close to those weights in the 300 mag Tikka and an A-Bolt 270. I even got the Remingtons outs and tried weighing them, they are my lightest ML and they still weighed 7 lbs. Then out of curiosity I weighed the U-Mag it is heavy compared to the rest.

Plans are still the same Terry should be over mid-week with those 503's and I picked up some north Idaho brochures @ work on some camping and things to do spots here on the Clearwater.

Looks like things are already turing brown on the hillsides over there... must be getting warm... perfect place for a windmill farm....

Nice shooting there. I kind of get a kick out of looking at the hole a .223 makes and then looking at the hole a .504 makes. Granted one is going three times as fast probably, but either of them would not be fun to be hit by. For open sights, and first time out, that is some impressive shooting. You already have a 70 yard deer rifle there.. And easy to carry around for the day.
