Default Smokepole storage between hunts

Was wondering if it is ok to leave a charge (unprimed) in a muzzle loader? Like say if you hunted in the morning and was going back out that afternoon or the next day. Also what about leaving the gun out in the truck at night I leave my rifle out in the cold because the scope gets condensation on it and freezes. Do you think I can do the same with my m-loader? I thought it might help to keep condensation out of the barrel also. Thanks all!! Any response would be greatly appreciated!! by the way it is 5 degrees outside and 70 inside.
