Trigger assembly reworked?
I just read a review of the CVA Optima Pro and it wasn't very favorable, one of the concerns was the heavy trigger pull in the early models. If I get one of those that I just ordered, can I take the trigger assembly to a smith to have it worked on?

dont worry about it. Once it comes in, check everything out and pull the trigger a few times and see how it is. If it bad a heavy trigger, email cva and tell them about it and ask what they can do. They'll more than likely either do trigger work or send you another rifle. Dont get jumpy over one review. Hope it arrives in good working order and shoots center. Enjoy it.

RE: Trigger assembly reworked?
I bought a T/C Firestorm(flinter) that had a terrible trigger. I sent it back to T/C and they worked on it and sent it back. It was a little better, but still really bad. I then took it to a local gunsmith and had it reworked and now it feels great. I guess what I am trying to say is that it is unlikely that Cva is going to fix the trigger as good as you want it to be.They tend to keep triggers heavy for legal reasons.I'd take it to a reputable gunsmith.
