Default Knight or winchester.

Going to purchase a new muzzleloader soon and intrested in these two guns. I feel good about the knight because I have a wolverine and it has been nothing but dependable for me. Wondering about the winchester, has anybody got one or shot one? The few posts that I have seen on these have been good. Also opinions on 50cal or 45.

KNIGHT OVER WINCHESTER.

WINCHESTER IS TO NEW TO THE MUZZLELOADER BUSINESS, LET THEM GET THE BUGS OUT. ALSO LOOK INTO T/C BLACK DIAMOND, OR THE OMEGA. I LIKE .50 CAL OVER .45

I own a Knight and have shot the new Winchesters. If I would have to buy another I would buy another Knight. The Winchester is a nice rifle, and held nice groups at 100yds., but I do not feel it is the better of the two rifles. I have all 50cals. I think the caliber preference is up to you.

Keep shooting your Wolverine. It will shoot as good as the Winchester.
Nobody need to shoot 150 grains.

I never shot the Winchester BP but I have shot a Knight Wolverine, and I was real impressed with the quality and accuracy of the Knight rifle. I would take the Knight... It is a established name in the BP world.

Decided to go with the winchester, that thing just grabbed me by the heart and wouldn't let go. My wife said that I use to love her that way. (tee hee hee) But any way hope it shoots as good as it looks.

"CVA" MAKES THE MUZZLELOADERS FOR "WINCHESTER", THERE IS REALLY NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM, MAYBE THE LOOKS. SO IF ITS A "CVA" THEN ITS GRABAGE!!!
