Goex has now also withdrawn / denounced support of toby bridges due to his extreme views on traditional muzzleloading...

That is no surprise. I think Mr. Bridges might have "burned the wrong bridges" with his last statements....

Mr. Bridges sure has a tendency to bite the hand that feeds him. First, he's sponsored by Savage, can't abide by their rules, then gets canned, and mysteriously a smokeless muzzleloader explodes in his hands. He has become vocal about forcing all states to legalize scopes and enforcing a ban on roundballs for hunting. Just seems kind of strange coming out of someone sponsored by a manufacturer of traditionally-styled sidelocks and a black powder producer. You'd think he would have given some thought as to what would benefit his sponsors. Apparently not.[&:]

I think some of these "experts" have been smoking more than powder over the years.

http://www.hpmuzzleloading.com/NAMlHA.html

We have repeatedly received threats to boycott HPML sponsor products from those who oppose the legalization of scopes on muzzleloaders and the relaxation of regulations in some states that restrict the use of modern pellitized powders, saboted bullets, No. 209 ignition and a few other modern conveniences. And we have lost two - GOEX and the Davide Pedersoli Co. It only tells us that these two companies do not have the modern muzzleloading hunters' best interest at heart. And in the future you may want to keep that in mind if and when considering a purchase of their products.
