Wow its only one month until opening day for whitetails and I can't hardly wait to see what my muzzleloader will do. Just to get out in the field hunting is exciting enough! The range is fun but it doesn't hold a candle to the hunt. Good luck and safe hunting to everyone who is going out a field this year.

It's about 6 weekstill my son's first elk hunt but mine isn't until Dec. Still, with the day's getting shorter and the nights getting cooler it isdefinately my favorite time of the year.

In Alberta Archery started Aug 24 and Rifle Sept 17 for Moose, Elk, deers, beer. Sheep also started in Aug.

One big moose spotted, few deer and couple 'yotes. Still no blood.
