I measured them a while back and I remember them being a hair under 1". If I remember, I will measure again tonight and let you know what the exact dimension is. If you order some of the BS's for your White, I would highly recommend asking Dan to make them at .5045". They will load very easy and in my mind engrave a little better than the .504".

Sorry, forgot to bring my calipers home from work. Measured it again with tape measure and was right at 1" or maybe a hair less.

Give UC a try to see if he has advise. If you want you could always email Dan at
[email protected]
He might be willing to send you a sample of different diameters to try in your barrel. That way you are sure you are getting what you want when you order. He does a great job and even with shipping from AK, they are very economical. Pretty sure the shipping is the same on orders up to about 500 bullets. If you get a sample and find the one you like and place a big order, it will come out to about 22 or 23 cents each.
Your postman might ask you, "What is in that box, lead?" You just say, "Yup."

Sorry, but the only bullet I have ever tried (and still use) in the Huntsman is a 400 grain PR Bullet Ultimate 1 hp. I have never slugged that rifle's bore either, so can't really say which size from Bull Shop you would need. It SHOULD be .502 as that was the H&R spec that I recall reading somewhere, but check anyway.
In .50x caliber, any of Dan's bullets of 500 grains or less will be western state legal (less than 2X).
