Default R.E.A.L. .50 with an Omega?

Has anyone tried the REAl conicals with an Omega, Kodiak, or Apex? If so how successful have you been? I would REALLY like to find an alternative to the $1 a pop powerbelts. I figured I would get some feedback before I ordered them and started playing around. I am also looking at the Maxi-Balls.

A GOOD BULLET TO LOOK INTO IS THE BUFFALO SSB 375 GRAIN HP BOATTAIL THEY SELL FOR $17.00 BUCKS FOR 32 ROUNDS NOT BAD PRICE,ANOTHE BULLET WOYLD BE THE HORNADY XTP MAG IN 240 GRAIN OR 300 GRAINERS.
I HAVE SOME REALS IN 320 GRAIN IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO TRY,BUT YOU MAY ALSO NEED A WAD UNDER THE BULLET FOR A BETTER SEAL.

I am guessing you can't use sabots to hunt with where you live because the Omega really is a sabot rifle. I shoot the 370g maxiball out of my Encore with fair results and I bet if you keep the charge under 100g the 320g REAL may just work in the Omega.

I say what the heck order a batch and see if they work Even if they don't you at least had a good reason to go out shooting and have some fun.

A friend gave me a can full of those REAL bullets and I shot some just out of curiosity as I get an invite to hunt Colorado once in a while.
They just don't shoot like sabots,no one hole groups, but with a felt wad well greased and a dry one under it they would shoot 2.5 inchs[100yd] out of my Omega,but the heavy load was only 90 gr and they shot the best group with 80 when I tried to load up they went wild and leaded the barrel.
I would say they were usable at short ranges say up to 100yd but with that light a load long range like 150 and over would be kinda chancy. Lee
