Problem, help!!

RE: Power Belts. When they first came out, before CVA bought them out (and they were called "Black Belt Bullets"), I tried them in the .45 and .50 that shot the above groups, and they shot well. However, recently, some at least have failed to shed their plastic wads, and accuracy was undependable. So I have not used any Power Belts lately. I see they have a new, "silver" one out now. I hope they have done something to get those wads to come off when they should!
RE: Gun won't fire.
I had expected someone to mention the other solution to such a problem: If the charge seems dead,(won't fire for some reason), and you have tried every reasonable solution without success, one canpour a couple of inches of penetrating oil into the powder charge through the nipple hole and also down the bore, and allow it to work overnight to totally kill the powder charge. Then a ball puller screw tip on a stout ramrod can be screwed into the front of the ball and the ball can then be pulled out with the rod. I have done this a number of times, and the ball comes out rather easily. This works with both round balls and conicals. It is even easier to screw the puller into the nose of a conical that has a hollow point!
