Default Bonded Shock Waves

Well I tried those bonded 250 gr.Shock Waves today, Shot a fouling shot and 5 for group at 150 yds got 1.5 inch which is the best I can do with a 2.5 power scope at 150. So they are shooting better than me. This was with volume measure. Which is why I like the course FF APP.
The gun was a Z5 Omega I picked up for 160 dollars when Wallyworld had them on sale.
The load was that course APP FF that I alone seem to love, 120 gr.
The other group [the big one] was 50/40 200gr Shock Waves I know they shoot best with 150 gr I was just trying to get them to shoot with a little less powder.
Comments,am ready for my may hog hunt. The new sabot that comes with the new bonded 250 Shock Waves loads like it was greased; one of those holes came from an unwiprd barrel I like to know what it will do if I have to load in a hurry. So what do youall think. Lee

I think them hogs better stay further then 150 yards away from you or they are in a world of hurt... Nice shooting. Those bonded shockwaves will be an interesting projectile on the hogs.. be sure and let us know how they did.

cayugad, As long as the hogs co-operate I will do that.
I sure like the new sabot I hope they bond and use the same specs for the 50/40 200gr the load my gun likes is limping along at 2500 and that is a lot for an unbonded bullet in a copper jacket. Lee

I'm trying to get a hog hunt together. But my
load of choice will be 100gr. APP in stick form
Rem. kleenbore primer, 300gr. Hornady XTP-Mag.
So keep us up-to-date. Danny

I really like those bonded 250 gr. shock waves. I have been shooting them with the APP Shokies Gold in FFF and I love the combo so far. If the stores will ever restock there powder I really want to try the FF stuff. Give them hogs hell for us too Mike
