I need a link...
I may have read a post here incorrectly a few weeks ago, I thought someone here had mentioned shooting a 40 Cal bullet with a sabot that fit a 50 Cal ML. Sometimes my meory fails me so I may have been mistaken or misunderstood the post. If not I pleaseget a link to the source to purchase some of the bullets and the proper sabots to shoot from my Omega.
TC makes a 45 Cal 200 Grain Shockwave but not a 40 cal that I have noted, I have some of those to test at the range.
I havent been able to locate the thread where they were previously linked, it may be the lack of getting out to the range to shoot. My apologies for the additional request

Omegalover
I shoot 10mm (40 cal) bullets in a MMP blue sabot - they shoot great.
Here are a couple of threads....

Why didnt my search find that???
Oh well, is the bullet you were refering to,HOB40060 HP/XTP and would $15.95 per box be a good price as far as you can tell? And what Sabot did you use please?

Try the R&P Muzzleloading web site, they were the ones I posted about a week or two ago. Cabelas also carries the dead center bullets (same as R&P) and they are $1.00 per dz. cheaper. They also have some good ballistic charts. www.bpbullets.com

You may have looked at one of my post. I have
an Omega and tried several powder/bullet/sabot.
Combinations. The bore on my Omega is really
tight. So the combination that loads easy, shoots
great is the Hornady 300gr. XTP 45cal. in the new
.451 Harvester crushrib sabot. This really works
well for me, but I have learned that each ML has
its own set of rules as to what it will load easy,
and group well. If this is not the post you were
refering to, hope maybe it helps anyway.

I found that Cabela's has them in stock for $12.95 per box so I am planning a trip therethis weekend to pick some up. Like I need an excuse to go to Cabela's, he he.
I plan on trying the 300 Grain Hornady XTPs with the Crushrib Sabots also, so I will be looking toget some at the same time.
Will have a whole weekend planned just shooting and seeing what is happening with different loads etc.
Thanks for all the help guys and gals...God Bless
