I have a 40-65 Remington rolling block that I shoot both black powder and smokeless loads in. I just don't have the time to devote to it that I would like. A friend of mine made the conversion from the original 7X57 to 40-65 bent the tang to make it a curved pistol grip style and Fajen made a stock for it. Badger barrel cyrogenically frozen after bluing, has a Ron Snover long range rear sight that is unique in that a ramrod can be run through the barrel with the sight in position as the sight cup is on a crossbar that comes offa vertical mount which is on the side of the action rather than in the center. The rifle is so pretty that I am almost afraid to shoot it.
