13 year old gets second ML deer
Our youth season was Saturday and Sunday and my 13 year old got his second deer at 7:05 a.m.(he shot a nice doe last year). He shot a nice 8 point at about 25 yards
. He was using a friend's 45 cal Wolverine and the buck didn't even take a step. The hard part was getting him to sit still for another 2 hours with the deer laying right in front of him but we were hunting with another father and son and I didn't want to spook everything else out of area (we did actually have three more come by later that he also could have shot but they didn't have any luck).
Now I need to get another one durint ML season for my 16 year old using our 50 calOmega.

congratulations to your son.. it's a great thing when everything comes together like it did. By the way,I do not own a .45 caliber Wolverine but I have seen others on the forum ask about projectiles for the .45 caliber. What was your son shooting for a charge and projectile,that did such a great job at stopping the deer?
