Where can I get a reasonably priced ML shotgun... I would hunt only Turkey with it, so I would only need a turkey choke (hopefully they all aren't modified). Also where can I get supplies, wads, shots, etc. Never have done this before, but Turkey hunting is getting too easy where I am, I need a new challenge!

The Knight TK2000 is the way to go for blackpowder turkey hunting. It's good for 40yds.with the right load. The price isn't bad either.
The TK has a back bored barrel and comes with a turkey choke tube and fiber optic sights.
I have theblue'd w/black stock versionand I wish that I would have gone with camo.

keep an eye on the auction sites.. watch for a Knight TK2000, a White Tominator, or a T/C System 1 in 12 gauge. Also some of the old T/C New Englanders had shotgun barrels. Most of the wads and such you would need can be found at TOTW, MidSouth Shooters Supply, Cabela's and many other placed.

If you have a T/C Hawkins or Renegade in .54 caliber you can also get a Green Mountain drop in barrel for a .62 caliber smoothbore. They are a 20 gauge but can take a turkey. 90 grains of goex 2f, then an over the powder card, a fiber wad, 100 grains of #6 bird shot, and two over the shot cards. They are good for about 30 yards. I have one and would not try it much further then that.

I have a T/C New Englander with different choke tubes. Its a great gun and has taken many a turkey. As cayugad mentined, you can get the supplies from several sources. I really simplify the loading process. Powder, 2 over powder wads, shot, 1 over shot wad.

I bought my new TK 2000 NWTF at Gunbroker.com for 190.00 in the box and with all materials and supplies. The guy won it at a dinner for National Wild Turkey on a card drawing and didn't want the gun. It was a steal since brand new they are 399. Keep an eye out, they are out there.

T/C Encore turkey gun with choke is the way to go. Not cheap but a heck of a shooter. I used 90grains of 777 loose with a turkey ranger shot cup from BPI and about 120 grainsof shot by volumn. use the powder measure to measure the shot. Anyways it worked well for me. 2 birds last spring 1 at 32 yds and one at about 25yds. I will be experimenting with loads more this year though.
