alright today while going through the paper and a I see a thompson center omega 50 cal. i call the guy and he says the gun he bought brand new last year and never even took it out of the box. It has the grey woodgrain laminate stock and stainless barrel. He is asking 440 but said he might take less. Is this a good deal and is the gun gonna be alright sitting in a box the way he bought it?

It's $89.00 less than Cabela's,but they are a little high.I paid $374.00+tax for my stainless camo.Bought it last year from Gander Mountain.My opinion-Buy It.Best ML I ever owned.Nobody has a better warrantee than TC.

He's right up there in the ball park with merchants on the net for that rifle. The problem is if you buy from him and something is wrong, you can bet he will not want to take it back where stores usually will.

I guess it boils down to how much you want the rifle. Its a great rifle and would serve you well..
